What is Document Attestation ? How to apply for attestation at UAE Embassy?

What is Attestation? Why is it Required?

The process of attesting a formal document involves both witnessing and signing it to confirm that the parties bound by its terms really signed it. An official legal recognition of a document's validity and a confirmation that the right procedures were followed is called an attestation. An attester is a person who confirms the legitimacy or authenticity of something or someone.

When someone travels to another country, their documents are verified by certificate attestation. Documents intended for use abroad require the certificate attestation process. Every person leaving the nation for whatever reason is required to complete certificate attestation.

Academic document attestation encompasses all forms of educational credential authentication. Attestation of educational credentials includes attestation of degrees, diplomas, HSCs, and SSLCs. Concurrently, non-educational certificate attestation takes into account all personal certifications, such as marriage, death, and birth certificates. Documents pertaining to commerce, business, properties, etc. are included in commercial certificates. Depending on the kind of certificate that has to be certified, several methods apply for certificate attestation.
